DIRECT BILLING - IMS

I graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, followed by a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy.

Before that, I grew up playing every sport under the sun, and focussed on basketball in high school and into college (Parkland Pride, Stony Plain Rockets and SGCHS Panthers alum!). With this, I spent lots of time in physio clinics throughout my life, mostly for repeated ankle and knee injuries. Physio was what let me keep getting back to the sports and activities that I loved, no matter what new injury I limped into the clinic with. This left a huge impact on me, and led me into pursuing physio as a career.

My treatment focuses on proper understanding of your injury and what strategies you can use to adapt and overcome. In my mind, the best treatment is the one that sets you up for success managing the condition going forward for the long term. I also utilize therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and biomedical dry needling to help calm down your symptoms as quickly as possible and get you back on your feet.

I have a special interest, and have completed additional training in Temporomandibular Disorders (TMJ) rehabilitation and neck pain.

Outside of the clinic, you will find me chasing my dog (or son) around the park, reading my book (recommendations always appreciated!) or competing in disc golf across the province.
