As a competitive athlete and coach growing up I have always been interested and intrigued by the human mind and body.  This curiosity continued to grow as I completed my Bachelor of Science at the University of Alberta as a Psychology Major.  Once I graduated, I was quickly drawn to massage therapy and enrolled in MH Vicars School of Massage Therapy 2200 hour program.  Throughout the two year program I was able to expand my knowledge in advanced anatomy, physiology, orthopaedic assessment, and stretching and strengthening techniques.  I also learned different relaxation and therapeutic massage techniques including Swedish massage, Trigger Point therapy, Myofascial Release, Hydrotherapy, Sports massage and Prenatal massage.

Working as a therapist I have come to appreciate the opportunity to focus on injury prevention, rather than injury management and treatment.  I am passionate about helping others and I believe that everyone can benefit from massage therapy whether they are suffering from chronic conditions, a high stress lifestyle or simply want to maintain a healthy mind and body.  I strive to provide client specific treatments by doing a thorough interview and ensuring all your needs and health goals are met with hands on treatment and home care options.

Outside of the treatment room, I enjoy spending time with my family, practicing yoga and travelling as much as possible. Bloom Therapy Massage and Wellness is my passion realized. I can’t wait to assist you on your personal health journey toward a pain free and balanced body.
