Jana Arnold-Mishra, RMT, was the owner and practicing Massage Therapist of Enlighten Massage Therapy in Newmarket, Ontario. She has been practicing as a Registered Massage Therapist since graduating from Career Canada College with honors in 2003.

Jana was born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta. In 1999, she married her sweetheart and moved to his home province of Ontario, where she has lived for the past 23 years. This past summer of 2022, Jana moved to Spruce Grove with her husband and son to be closer to family.

After having studied one year of Nursing at college she realized that was not her true calling in life. It was Jana’s deep sense of compassion for helping others, fascination with learning about the human body, its capacity to heal itself naturally, and her intrigue of holistic healing therapies that led her to a career in Massage Therapy.

Since graduating, Jana has completed many additional hours of continuing education, some of which include: Biomechanics, Scapular Stretch Technique, Advanced Myofascial Therapy, Reiki levels 1 &2 and Cupping Therapy. Over the past 19 years as an RMT, Jana has specifically and successfully treated a broad range of acute and chronic injuries, and also has special interests in prenatal/infant massage, children/teen massage and Cupping Therapy.

When Jana is not working, she enjoys walking her dog, cooking, reading, meditating, spending time with her son, husband and family, and is an on-going student of Yoga and life!
