My path to becoming a registered acupuncturist started out with taking my Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at the University of Alberta. Growing up in the Stony Plain/Spruce Grove area I participated in all kinds of sports including soccer, swimming, skiing, golf and curling. Because of my love for sport and physical activity, the transition to a University degree centered around the movement and science of the human body seemed natural. After I graduated from the U of A I was drawn to MacEwan University’s Acupuncture program. My mom is a holistic veterinarian and watching the difference she was able to make by using acupuncture in her practice was inspiring. I completed the three year program last summer and have fully immersed myself in the profession ever since.

I strongly believe that every individual should have a safe space to talk about their health and wellness concerns without judgment. Finding a balance between work, home and personal life can be challenging in today’s world and I am passionate about helping you achieve harmony among them. I really enjoy listening to each person’s story and strive to provide treatments that are unique to you and your concerns. I love how Eastern Medicine and especially acupuncture focus on each person as a whole - taking your physical, mental, emotional and spiritual aspects into account when forming one cohesive picture of health.

Outside of the treatment room I am a competitive curler and carded athlete competing on the World Curling Tour. I’ve been fortunate enough to represent Canada and see the world which has sparked my love for both competition and travel. I’m really looking forward to meeting and working with you so you can go out and be your best self!
