My path to becoming a registered acupuncturist started out with taking my Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at the University of Alberta. After I graduated from the U of A I was drawn to MacEwan University’s Acupuncture program. I’ve been practicing since 2021 here at Bloom Therapy and have loved getting to connect with members of our community and grow my base here.I love how Eastern Medicine and especially acupuncture focus on each person as a whole - taking your physical, mental, emotional and spiritual aspects into account when forming one cohesive picture of health.I’ve completed some additional training and I am now Balance Method Acupuncture Level 1 & 2 Certified which provides you with an additional method of acupuncture to try. The premise with that is that we can address any concerns by needling only your arms & legs. It’s very centered around the whole body approach and a great alternative to always needling the areas that are bothering you.I especially enjoy working with women’s reproductive health concerns, digestive health, headaches/migraines and areas of mental health such as stress & anxiety.
