Chantal Briere, Student Massage Therapist
Growing up surrounded by inspiring health care providers, I have always been fascinated by the human body. Even when pursuing my bachelors degree in Fine Arts, human models were my favourite subject, their grace and strength pure beauty to my eyes. My passion for helping and supporting others drew me into health care, where Massage Therapy seemed like a perfect fit. I am now enrolled at M.H Vicars School of Massage Therapy in my second and final year, graduating in June 2018. The team at Bloom Therapy consist of positive and knowledgeable professionals, and I am truly blessed to learn at their side.
Through my training, I have found a passion in helping others achieve their health goals and optimal well-being with a combination of Swedish massage techniques, myofascial release and trigger point release. I have a high interest in functional postural dysfunctions and helping clients with hip and lower back pain due to occupation or lifestyle. My main focus when working as a team with a client is to integrate a treatment in a realistic way in their daily life. It is really important to me to create time for each of my clients and find the best approach to offer maximum relief and results with a positive touch. Through my multiple hours of practice, clients have found my personality to be very calming and my touch intuitive.
When I’m not in a treatment room, I love to clear my head in the great outdoors hiking or traveling or hitting the road on my motorcycle. I am excited to be part of this incredible team of professionals and I am really eager to learn from them. More importantly, I cannot wait to work with you as a team to achieve new goals and help you thrive in your life!
