Hi, I’m Ashley!

I have wanted to be a physiotherapist since participating in a high school internship at the local hospital and witnessing firsthand the positive impact physiotherapists can have on people’s lives. Since then, I have graduated from the University of Alberta with my Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology (BScKin) and Master of Science in Physical Therapy (MScPT).

I have always been involved in sports, and enjoy volleyball, badminton, and track and field. I love hiking and camping in the mountains and am also continuously trying to improve my snowboarding skills.

I have gained experience with a variety of patients over my time in the field, including working as the student trainer for the MacEwan Women’s Volleyball team, volunteering with children at the Steadward Center, and working as a kinesiologist at a physiotherapy clinic. My experience as an exercise therapist heavily influences my treatment style, as I understand the importance of movement for recovery. I like to combine a personalized exercise program with manual therapy and education for a well-rounded treatment approach for all my patients.

My clinical education took me to four cities across Alberta, and my favorite experiences were in orthopedic private practice and in outpatient neurology with stroke and traumatic brain injury patients. Whether you are an athlete, weekend warrior, have a persistent injury, or a neurological condition, I would be happy to join your treatment team and work with you on getting you back to your goals.

In my free time, you can usually find me taking my dog on adventures in the mountains, at the plant store, playing spikeball, or trying new local restaurants and breweries around the city.
